In the World of Geometry: Introduction (class is full)
Price: $300 per course.
Wednesday 10- 11:30 class (10-week course: March 25th; April 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th; May 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th).
Prerequisites: Students need to know how to add and subtract two- and three-digit numbers easily.  
Description: In this class, we will learn the basics of geometry: lines, angles and side lengths, parallel lines and vertical angles, triangles, exterior angle theorem, special lines in a triangle (bisector, median, altitude), congruence and congruence theorems, construction of triangles. Students will have weekly homework.
At the end of the session, we will work on extracurricular math problems, which help develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
This class is taught remotely.

In the world of Algebra: Quadratic formula (solution of the quadratic equation and graphing of a quadratic function).
Price: $300 per course. 
Tuesday 10:00- 11:30 am (10-week course: March 31st; April 7th, 14th, 21nd, 28th; May 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th; June 2nd).
Prerequisites: Fractions, linear equations, and inequalities.
Description: In this class, we will learn the standard form of a quadratic equation, a root of a quadratic, finding the root by factoring, completing the square, quadratic formula, graphing a quadratic equation, real-world applications of quadratic equations.  Students will have weekly homework.
At the end of the session, we will work on extracurricular math problems, which help develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

In the World of Algebra: Decimals and Percents.
Price: $300 per course.     
Tuesday 11:30-1:00 pm (10-week course: March 31st; April 7th, 14th, 21nd, 28th; May 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th; June 2nd).
Prerequisites: Students need to know fractions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.)
Description: In this class, we will learn decimals (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and percents, as well as the real-world application of both decimals and percents.  Students will have weekly homework.
At the end of the session, we will work on extracurricular math problems, which help develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Beginner’s Chess: Step 2.
Price: $225 per course.
(10-week course: March 31st; April 7th, 14th, 21nd, 28th; May 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th; June 2nd).
Prerequisites: Students need to know the names of all the pieces and how they move. What are check and checkmate?
Description:
-Strengthen the understanding of the check and the checkmate;
–  Learn how to checkmate with different pieces:
    Queen, Rook, Bishop, Knight, and Pawn (Each will get two sessions).
– Work on chess puzzles together during our live classes;
– Solve homework chess puzzles;
– Play games between each other using the online platform at Lichess.org, receive helpful tips/suggestions from me.
Parent’s participation during the remote class not required; however, students will have to be assisted in starting the games at Lichess.org.

In the World of Trigonometry: Part 1- Right Angle and the Unit Circle Trigonometry.
Price: $250 per course.
Friday 10- 11:00 am (10-week course: April 10th, 17th, 24th; May 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th; June 5th, 12th).
Prerequisites: Right triangle geometry, linear equations, functions, graphs, exponents.
Description: In this class, we will learn the basics of trigonometry. Right angle definitions of the six trigonometric functions: sine, cosine, tangent, cotangent, cosecant, and secant; How to solve for a side in a right triangle; How to solve for an angle in a right triangle; sine and cosine of complementary angles; Trigonometric identities; Radians; Unit circle definitions of sine, cosine, and tangent. There will be weekly homework.

In the world of Algebra: Functions (Domain, range, max, min, graphing, inverse.)
Price: $250 per course.
Friday 11 am – 12:00 pm (10-week course: April 10th, 17th, 24th; May 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th; June 5th, 12th).
Prerequisites: Fractions, linear equations, and inequalities, quadratic equations.
Description: In this course, we will learn what are functions and how to find their domain, range, maximum, minimum and inverse. We will also learn how to graph functions. There will be weekly homework.
